This cantilever bridge spans Coos Bay and carries US 101. At one time, this was Oregon’s longest bridge at approximately 1 mile long with 145 vertical feet in clearance. Completed in 1936, it was eventually renamed in honor of McCullough who designed this bridge and 10 others of similar design.
